With representation on the EL24 Committee (Standards Australia) since 1995, Procel Lightning Protection has been continually aware and informed regarding changes to AS1768 (Australian Standard for Lightning Protection).
A former director of Procel Lightning Protection, and now active consultant, was an elected member of the Working Group, responsible for the development of the new software program 'RISK". This software is now an integral part of AS1768/2007 published on 10 January 2007.
This new and sometimes complex risk methodology can be interrupted for engineers, building designers or building owners. You can rely on Procel Lightning Protection providing a design service that is up-to-date and meets all recommendations of the Australian Standard, together with new OH & S compliance requirements.

Annual inspection, certification & earth testing services
Procel Lightning Protection offers SERVICE CONTRACTS, usually on a yearly basis, which assists building owners to meet their obligations under OH & S legislation. Changes to the legislation in recent years have made it imperative that all systems affecting a business are fully maintained and regularly certified.
The annual inspection program involves:- Inspection of existing systems
- Earth resistance testing
- Certification to meet published standards
